About Nadia Maynard

With over 10 years of experience in social work and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), I am a passionate and effective leader who fosters transformational change in the communities I serve. As the Site Director at Church World Service, I oversee the local office operations and engage actively with local leaders and partners to advance the mission and work of the organization. My core competencies include executive leadership and program administration, workforce development and adult learning, trauma-informed practices, mental health and staff wellness, and program development for unaccompanied children, immigrants, refugees, and asylum-seekers. I also have a strong background in change management, strategic planning, and program evaluation. I hold a SHRM-SCP certification and a Healing Centered Engagement Practitioner certification, as well as a PhD candidate in social work. I am committed to promoting justice, equality, and human rights through a human rights-based framework for social work practice.
