A confident finance team leader with over 20 years of experience. Substantial financial knowledge and experience gained while working in various industries, which includes Commodity Markets, Property Development and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Most recently managed the entire finance function for various PETRONAS Group Companies. In depth finance knowledge of the full value chain, which includes sourcing and trading of Liquid Natural Gas (‘LNG’), re-gasification of LNG into Natural Gas, European Gas trading on NBP and TTF markets, gas pipeline and Gas Storage trading. Skills and experience includes: Management and Leadership Direct reporting to CEO and Board of Directors, managing finance team and various key stakeholders. Financial Accounting: IFRS financial statements and analysing accounting policies, derivative accounting, group consolidations, external and internal audits, and end to end accounting function. Trading Accounts, Planning and Performance Management: Commodity trading accounts (trading instruments includes Forwards, Futures, Storages, Swings (Fixed & Indexed) and Options, inventory valuation, strategic planning and budgeting, managing budgets and performance and financial analysis. Treasury: Managing working capital requirements, cash flow forecasting, trade finance (stand by letter of credits), FX management and hedging, and managing Liquidity Risk. Other: Financial governance frameworks, developing and implementing various financial policies and procedures, managing financial systems, financial risks, and merger and acquisitions.
