Background
About Nadia Wan
I am an early years practitioner experienced with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), Reggio Emilia approach, Forest School approach, Power of Reading, White Rose Maths, and Makaton hand-sign. I have experience working in international schools in Hong Kong and Malaysia. I am passionate about curating the environment as a Third Teacher and take inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, Anna Ephgrave, Linda Pound, and Douglas H. Clements. Parent partnership and child-initiated learning are at the core of my teaching values. I specialise in early years mathematics and have lead Early Years Maths in Reception. I also focus on early years inclusion, specifically with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) students. Before my education experience, I was a strategy and business consultant with a Master's degree specializing in Organisational Behaviour (LSE).
