About Nadia Youssef

Currently a junior at Northeastern University pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science and Media Arts. I am passionate about exploring where technology and arts meet, particularly in entertainment. I have also delved into the space of Immersive Media since starting at NU and am pursuing the subject as a minor. Working with virtual, mixed, and augmented reality has been rewarding as it is a budding industry and I am excited to see where we can take it. I thrive most doing collaborative, project-based works. I am eager to work together in teams to create pieces of work for people’s consumption, whether that be to help or entertain. I have many years of experience with these sorts of projects in theater production, and am looking to translate these skills into digital media. My technical skills range from practical programming knowledge in languages such as C++, Java, Python, etc, to intuitive creative expertise in programs such as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects and Autodesk Maya. I am excited to explore opportunities that allow me to apply both my technical and creative skills.
