About Nancy Nyarko

I am a Compliance Specialist with over 6 years experience in Compliance procedures, AML, CDD Analysis, ISMS Compliance, Transaction Monitoring, Regulatory Compliance, and Financial Crime investigations. I have worked with some banks, investment & securities firms, and Fintechs in Ghana in the compliance and regulatory role. I am the Compliance Manager and AMLRO at Payaza Africa Limited, a FinTech and payment system company regulated by the Bank of Ghana. In my capacity as a Compliance official, I have established compliance procedures, ISMS procedures and obtained certification, developed policy and procedure documents, and enforced a compliance culture in the institutions where I’ve worked. I am a personal growth and development enthusiast with the goal of adding value to people so that they can make meaningful contributions in their communities. This goal has initiated projects like TBH Book club; a personal growth and development reading club with the aim of raising and equipping visionary African leaders through selective reading and close mentoring. I am an excellent communicator and public speaker, a member of Toastmasters International; an international public speaking and leadership club, and the 2019/2020 International Speech Contest winner at Joe Lartey Toastmasters Club. I am a publisher, an avid reader, and a budding entrepreneur in the personal growth and development space. The Book Haven and TBH Academy are my projects.
