About Nari You

I am a Library Information technician who is a self motivated individual with a strong work ethic. Moreover, I have learned ‘Advanced Information and Record Management’ which is the foundation of operating information and record systems efficiently while I was a Library Information Technology student at SAIT. I am currently working as a learning commons librarian at Our Lady’s of the assumption school (K-9) in Calgary. Since April, 2021, I have been providing various learning commons services for students such as story times, annual events and contests, catalogue school resources, craft displays, coding classes with robotic materials and so on. In addition, I have been indexing various forms of information and resources physically and virtually. Creating posters and visual images using Canva.com is one of my strengths. Furthermore, I provide many coding classes such as 'Scratch' and educational robots: Sphero, Ozobot, Dash and Dot etc. I have often received positive feedback from my patrons which encouraged me to continue achieving the highest standards in my role. Moreover, my administrative skills have been built while I worked at Calgary Lab Services for over 6 years as a medical lab assistant which required a strong ability to pay attention to details.
