About Neil Patrick

In my current role as Operations Manager within Mid and East Antrim Borough Borough, I am responsible for various operational services. I am a member of Chartered Institute of Waste Mangement and hold a Transport Managers qualification. Within my role I am responsible for the management of all operational staff invloved in the collections of domestic, commercial waste and recycling. I am responsible for the Council's various vehicles ensuring they are compliant with our Goods Operator Licensing conditions. As part of my role I manage multiple operational depots and depots, Household Recycling Centres, vehicle workshops, public conveniences and ensure they are compliant with current health and safety, waste, transport legislation and regulations. I am the lead officer for various projects including ongoing service reviews and implementing new technologies to improve efficiencies. I also provide guidance and deal with all aspects of waste, transport, health and safety, training, HR related issues, budgeting, procurement of goods and services and contract management.
