Professional background Nicholas S Kidby DipPFS, CMS, CERM SOLLA Associate and SYMPONIA Member With experience as an Independent Financial Adviser since 1998, after spending 12 years working direct in financial services prior to becoming an IFA, Nick is a highly experienced finance professional. He is proud to be a member of the Personal Finance Society, the Chartered Insurance Institute, SOLLA and Symponia as a Later Life Care expert and has also qualified as a Certified Mortgage Specialist.​ As an experienced and respected Adviser at Chiltern Consultancy, Nick primarily helps by advising clients that have been referred to him mainly by clients or their accountant or solicitor. He is an experienced personal & corporate financial planner, supporting, individuals, directors and executive clients in relation to: Protecting personal and business assets – building and implementing strategies for retirement and later life, including workplace retirement and exit planning. Estate advice – including wealth creation, investment portfolio construction, helping Trustees meet their obligations, later life care and financial wellbeing. He supports his clients and their attorneys meet their objectives, with advice on equity release, lifetime mortgages that support their care or help give financial independence with on-going advice requirements. ​ With a holistic approach, Nick advises clients to consider and define their individual, or business planning objectives first. From that objective he can then explain those options available, helping gain better client outcomes, giving informed choices that provide confidence. Nick is a keen swimmer and motorcycle tourer as well as a life-long rugby enthusiast. Having played for High Wycombe RUFC for over 25 years, former Chairman, now honorary Life Vice President. Yes Nick has finally hung up his boots, however he continues to support his local Rugby club plus his other sporting interests such as helping and watching High Wycombe Cricket Club as proud sponsor of the Junior section.
