Award winning producer/director Self-shooting award winning Programme Maker/Camera/Director on factual programmes and documentaries for broadcast (BBC, C4, ITV) and online for many charities, health and social care organisations using many different formats and cameras including DSLR, C300, Fs7, A7, Z7 etc Experienced factual editor on FCP and Premiere News and current affairs experience with regional ITV Motivated by social issues and social change and using video and digital as a tool to support, inform, challenge, improve and effect change wherever possible Produced and filmed many stories about people’s lives and experiences including people with physical or learning disabilities, mental illness, teenage parents, young offenders, homeless young people, refugees together with many issues affecting older people including those in care, being supported at home or living with conditions such a Parkinson’s or dementia. Filming experience in health, care and social work sector including work with CCG’s and NHS Trusts, Social Care Institute for Excellence, NICE, Scottish Care Inspectorate. Work with many national and international charities, including Barnardo’s, Comic Relief, Centrepoint, Paul Hamlyn, Baring Foundation Overseas experience filming in many different countries and with a diverse range of people and communities across the UK and abroad in Sri Lanka, Kenya, Ghana and Europe. Photography and Photoshop skills and have developed and delivered training projects in digital skills and media. Project management experience on broadcast productions and digital media projects and campaigns working with diverse communities across the UK.
