About Nick Sinclair

An experienced Public Health Professional and qualified Humanistic Counsellor passionate about health and wellbeing, prevention of poor health outcomes, the importance of visibility, normalisation and access to mental wellbeing support across all levels of need. Communication, engagement, collaborative working and empowering leadership across complex multi-issue pieces of work is an important element of how I work. I am reliable, trustworthy, and am naturally a reflector in my approach to pieces of work, seeking to actively engage and jointly develop strategic and service development in the best interest of the community. Not afraid to challenge or receive challenges, I value respect, integrity and objectivity whilst being aware of the complex and subjective nature of public health and mental health related areas of work. I have a wide breadth of leadership experience across work areas that include suicide prevention, public mental health, sexual health, substance misuse, student health, JSNA, and ageing well, among other areas of public health focussed work
