About Nick Stevens

As a comedian, Nick’s sharp tongue-in-cheek, yet naturalistic comedic style has attracted large crowds for more than 10 years with sell-out performances at comedy festivals including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and more recently the Adelaide Fringe Festival. As a former house comedian he has shared the stage with some of Australia’s best-known names and has been recognised for his talents, winning the Russell Gilbert Choice Comedian Award and being a close runner-up to Fox FM’s Dave Thornton in the‘ Angling for a Laugh’ competition. His recent sell out Adelaide Fringe Festival show Bad Daddy combined his innate ability to weave stories into a laugh-a-minute stand up show with his portrait paintings. As a Victorian College of the Arts (former School of The National Gallery) graduate, he completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2004. After taking a lengthy break from painting he returned to painting portraits of family and friends and has continued to build on this working on portraits for any occasion. Bringing together his background in providing seminars, workshops and training sessions plus his current role as Trainer and Assessor and SANFLW North Adelaide Football Club Assistant to the Head Coach, Krissie Steen, he is well positioned in teaching others how to be funny, stage presence, the art of storytelling right through to authentic leadership and developing high performing teams. “Nick Stevens is teaching a few lessons in life and proving plenty of laughs along the way” - Herald Sun
