At the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), my role as a Health Program Specialist involves meticulous planning and coordination of extramural grant programs. My expertise in scientific support enables effective communication and evaluation of research in neuroscience, ensuring internal and external stakeholders are well-informed. This, coupled with my responsibility for analyzing program performance, positions me to significantly contribute to advancements in neurology. Leading up to my current position, my tenure as UAMS Postdoctoral Society President honed my skills in fostering collaboration and promoting career development among researchers. With a background in single cell sequencing and scientific writing, I have excelled in project development, which is now instrumental in guiding grantees at NINDS towards achieving their research objectives and navigating funding opportunities.
