About Nigel Oddy

A highly experienced retailer with fifteen years at C-Suite, I have had the privilege of leading some of the UK’s biggest brands, most recently House of Fraser, The Range, New Look, and Matalan. During my executive appointments, I have successfully driven refinance programs, business transformations and crisis management strategies – both in domestic and international markets. In 2023, I was appointed CEO of International Leisure Group, Parent Company of American Golf, and re-set the business as ‘the ultimate one stop destination for everything a golfer requires’. By focusing on core retail and leveraging the Brand’s strengths, within one year the business returned to its original DNA and heritage, swung back into profit, and reinforced American Golf as the UK and Europe’s number one golf retailer. I believe that ‘Retail really is detail’ and you will find the answers by listening to your customers, understanding their motivations and how they shop, and by placing them at the heart of the business.
