With around 15 years of experience in leading and delivering transformation, portfolio, and programmes in public sector organisations, I am Director of Corporate Services at North London Waste Authority (NLWA), employed by Camden Council. I am responsible for all corporate functions, including finance, HR, legal, technology, and transformation, for a service that covers 2.3 million residents across seven boroughs and manages a £1.5 billion heat and power programme. I am also the senior client for London Energy Ltd, a subsidiary of NLWA that operates one of the largest energy-from-waste plants in the UK. As a Chartered Accountant & Mathematician and a certified practitioner of MoP and MSP, I have a strong technical understanding, analytical skills, and risk management capabilities that enable me to plan and execute complex and high-value projects with multiple stakeholders and outcomes. I have a proven track record of influencing and establishing policy, championing change, and advocating value for money in my previous roles as a strategic finance leader at NHS England & Improvement, and a transformation and programme leader at Transport for London & Greater London Authority. I am passionate about giving back to the community and serving the public interest, which is why I have also been a Non-Executive Director of Tower Hamlet Homes, a housing organisation that provides quality services and homes for over residents. In addition, I am a yoga student and teacher who promotes well-being and balance in life.
