About Nikolay Kriventsov

Technical Project Manager with 14 years of experience in the optical networks industry. I manage two completely different teams. Optical transmission engineers and software developers. The first team as a technical mentor, I support, train and solve the most difficult problems, I act as an inteface between them and directly with the highest management of our client. Responding to the needs of my engineers, I built a team of sw developers who create tools automating complex technical projects. The tool designed by me allows to save 60% of time by completely changing the method of working on the project. I started my career from pre-sale positions, organizing customer trips, incl. to China, which allowed me to get to know the sector in different markets. Then I moved to post-sale which demands the development of high technical competences. Getting to know all aspects of work in my field from scratch has resulted in a lot success, bringing profits of several million pounds a year and a quick promotion with my current employer. The ability to manage people with different competences, knowledge of four languages (fluent - English, Polish, Russian and communicative Italian) and the ease of taking up even the most difficult decisions allow me to lead huge global projects.
