I am a forward thinking leader with a passion of Wealth creation & building business in a dynamic market environment. Being in the investment management arena for more than two decades, I have built a strong expertise in diverse fields of Investment management across Equity & Fixed income assets, Credit and Macroeconomic landscape. My forte lies in delivering out of the box investment ideas along with deep insight around market, macro environment & Geo- political landscape. In my extensive experience of Investment management, I have been imperative in contributing towards significant scaling of portfolio and have garnered industry wide accolades and recognition for my organisation. My investment philosophy is characterised by “long term view & focus on Peace of mind” for our stakeholders. Over last two decades, during my stint as an Investment leader, I have been instrumental in aiding the organisation to seamlessly navigate their growth journey & in improving their investment performance and governance. The scope of my Investment management role also enfolds collaborating with sales and other teams to educate and interact about markets and developing a sharp focus around achieving the organisational goals. As an incumbent “Chief Investment Officer” my key goal is to provide strategic Investment direction which would position Future Generali as a front runner in the Indian insurance space. My focus area is Investment Performance, Innovative Market Products, ALM, Credit model, Governance & Leadership. I am an ardent believer in power of Diversity, inclusiveness & empowering the team. My constant endeavour would be to leverage my knowledge & skills in building a quality investment team with strong research capability. I am an Economics graduate from the University of Delhi and hold a MBA degree in Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management. I have further enhanced my finance skills by doing an Executive course in Finance from International Centre for Financial Asset Management and Engineering (FAME), Geneva. Prior to Future Generali, I was working with Aviva Life Insurance for a span of 8 years as Head of Equities & Fund Manager. Before joining the Insurance Industry, I have worked with a leading Mutual Fund, UTI MF for five and half years in various positions such as Co Fund Manager and Sector Analyst. I was also a recipient of the ICRA Fund Award for the ‘Best Fund Performer’.
