About Noah Holt

As a software engineer at DexCare, I help to build the future of healthcare by developing web APIs that intelligently and quickly route would-be patients to appointments with clinicians. We currently use TypeScript, Redis, and PostgresSQL managed on AWS to create scalable and secure solutions that enhance the user experience and optimize the business performance. I am expanding on my Cloud knowledge with the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certificate, and am working towards the AWS Certified Developer certificate. Before joining DexCare, I worked as a software engineer at Walmart in the Information Security department, where I contributed to various projects that improved the security, efficiency, and automation of the company's systems. I worked on a ATO (account takeover) prevention solution, adding features and assisting with operations such as stopping activity that cost the company half a million dollars per week, integrated ticketing systems with an internal case management system, and refactored authentication for web services on my team. I also obtained the CompTIA Security+ to enhance my skills and knowledge in the domain of Information Security. I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in computer science in 2020. I excelled at my studies, graduating with a GPA of 3.7, balancing my responsibilities as an officer in the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) putting on events including the JB Hunt Hackathon. I am passionate about learning new technologies and frameworks, and I enjoy developing innovative and impactful solutions for various domains and industries.
