But here I am today…Here’s a brief description of my position: The Director, Government Funding Programs, serves as the chief administrator for the Government Funding Programs function and is responsible for the administration and application of federal, state, and institutional funds. The incumbent coordinates documentation for compliance audits, compliance reviews, program reviews, and any other financial aid account reconciliation and further ensures the integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of the financial aid records, in compliance with all federal and state regulations, laws, and mandates. Additionally, the incumbent ensures Financial Aid policies and processes are compliant with current institutional and programmatic accrediting agencies to secure the organization’s standing with relevant regulatory agencies. Yet, no matter how technical the position sounds, I have so much passion in what I do. I love knowing that at the end of the day, I am part of something so much bigger. I am part of a ripple effect to better humanity for a better world.
