About Norman Speller
I design and make bespoke wooden furniture, utilising complementary materials to enhance individual pieces. My experience from studying form in sculpture, attention to detail and technical skill as a draughtsman, all play a key part in producing a timeless piece. I work closely with clients to ensure they receive a beautiful, personal feature that reflects and enhances their lifestyle. I work with solid hard wood and veneers with the introduction of glass, stainless steel, slate and stone should the design require. From small free-standing pieces to larger fitted items to small boxes that commemorate that special occasion, I consider each piece as functional sculpture. Winner of the Celebration of Craftsmanship & Design Award (Cheltenham 2012) – Highly Commended by The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.
