I started my journey as a clinical dietitian, and I got involved in dysphagia and TPN multidisciplinary teams since their establishment in Working with cancer patients and being part of accreditation and breast cancer education teams at led me to desire to improve cancer care and treatments. Pursuing my postgraduate studies in epidemiology and biostatistics gave me essential knowledge in cancer research, which will help clinicians and decision-makers enhance cancer care in general. During my PhD, I became interested in learning more about improving the healthcare system using causal inference in machine learning. I aim to enhance my knowledge in this area after the PhD.
