I am a highly knowledgable government and regulatory affairs professional with 15+ years of experience, primarily in the automotive industry. In my government relations related roles, I am primarily responsible for identifying and communicating changes in government policies and executing strategies to mitigate potential harm or improve the organizations competitive position. I have extensive experience collaborating and engaging with all levels of government including municipal, provincial and federal while promoting electrified vehicle options and policy positions. My success has been achieved through careful planning, organizing and executing events such as “ride and drives” for government officials, representing the organization at industry conferences and through government consultations and direct lobbying of elected officials and senior public servants. Lastly, I’ve had the privilege of working with third party association such as the Global Automakers Canada on the Government Policy Committee, Technical Committee and the Product Stewardship Committee. I have been instrumental in bringing together like-minded automotive competitors to lobby government for the necessary infrastructure to deploy zero emissions vehicles.
