Background
About Oscar Herrera
My name is Oscar Herrera-Cervantes, a Graduate from the University of California Merced. I received my Bachelors of Science Degree for Cognitive Science. I have participated in a lab that worked with Chat GPT, with the focus being on the learning patterns that it has and how it implements them into responses for a user's prompt. Goals: My goal is to use the skills I have learned to work with Virtual (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). A large motivator as to why I want to work in these two areas is because of how fascinating the technology is from both a Cognitive perspective and technological one. Much like Artificial intelligence, it's a form of technology that is still new yet growing rapidly and I want to take part in that growth. I believe that these forms of technology can do both plenty of good things and bad things, but with proper research and development a solidified understanding on their nature can lead to a well-balanced future that uses AR and VR.
