Extensive experience in policy analysis and research at the interface of urban and regional planning, environment, health and quality of life (sustainable development, ecosystem services, greenspace, environmental/transport noise, just transition) and widely published in those fields. PhD and Masters in Regional and Urban Planning (UCD) with a primary degree in economic and social studies (TCD). Experienced project manager with substantial experience coordinating academic and European projects (PhD, post-doctoral projects, Interreg Europe). Expertise in project and tender evaluation - Interreg NWE, DAFM, DECC (National Just Transition Fund), Strategic Environmental Assessment, Socio-Economic Analysis - with experience in EU programme development (EU Just Transition Fund for Ireland). Planning research and policy expertise with experience in 3rd level course coordination and lecturing (undergraduate & postgraduate), conference/event presentation/organisation including political fora, academic conferences and stakeholder workshops.
