As Meteor Education's Chief Education Evangelist, Dr. Page Dettmann collaborated with district administrators, architects, and Meteor teams to design learning spaces that provide educators with a transformative instructional tool. Modern environments unlock the potential for teacher teams to drive new ways of learning, tapping into students’ inherent drive for social connection. When small teams of students collaborate on problem-solving tasks that activate their social brains, they improve teamwork and social skills while accelerating cognitive and social growth. Before joining Meteor, Dr. Dettmann spearheaded a groundbreaking initiative in Sarasota County Schools that integrated academics with social development across all middle schools. She supported innovative, forward-thinking educators in designing interactive, hands-on learning experiences for small student teams, igniting curiosity, inquiry, and critical thinking. Student-driven problem-solving naturally fostered rich peer-to-peer communication, enhancing engagement and boosting learning. Dr. Dettmann often speaks at national conferences and events, emphasizing the importance of interactive learning experiences and modern environments that equip learners with future-proof skills for college, career, and life. Page is certified by the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) as an Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP) and is a faculty member of the international ALEP certification program.
