About Parker Roan

From homeless to entrepreneur. From dirt-work to tech. I pride myself on being able to make sense out of chaos. After leaving college with an AG Business Degree I pursued the advancement of Precision Agronomy. I worked and mastered every step of the process. From pulling dirt core samples, turning the data to application maps for variable rate fertilizer and even driving the machines that applied the fertilizer. With this background and wanting to grow even more I got into Precision Mapping. Once again I wanted to master the whole process. From becoming a UAS Drone Pilot, building 3d maps and downloading maps into equipment to move dirt to match my created maps. I enjoy becoming a drone pilot so much I become very interested in photo/video. To learn more about the industry I accepted my first management position at the largest camera store in the south. After learning quickly of anything camera related, I realized an opportunity in the market. The profit on used gear was way higher versus new items. I took over the used, pushed social marketing, did outside buying and ramped up the eBay account. First year of this increased used sales 53%. After doing this for 2 years and making a mark on the industry, I was brought to the largest used photo equipment dealer. Here I would travel the county and buy equipment. Along with this I would also do customer relations and later become warehouse manager as well. In the background of these career moves I was also starting, running and selling business start ups. In total I have ran 7 LLCs, from underground power, large reselling and marketing. With growing these businesses and self teaching myself marketing I started to find my passion in advertising and content creation. This would lead me to be recruited to Badlands OffRoad Park. This would turn into my greatest highlight thus far. Working close to dealers, large groups of people and local events enabled me to be constantly creative. I would go on to create many million view videos, grow social/web traffic 65% and even create a now famous event "Women's Off Road Day'. Nowadays I work for a growing marketing firm and continue my learning and growth. Business is always changing and so am I.Always find sense in the chaos.
