About Parth Makwana

As an Urban Planner at India's first operational smart city, GIFT City, I played a pivotal role in the planning process, from conceptualization to implementation. My responsibilities encompassed preparing site plans for RFPs, drafting bids/tenders for projects such as the Comprehensive Mobility Plan and the city-wide Parking Plan, and formulating policies for temporary access and land allotment. I am a passionate urban planning professional with a strong educational background. I hold a Master's degree in Urban Planning from CEPT University, where I honed my expertise in analyzing policies and laws, conducting spatial planning analysis, and evaluating the feasibility of real estate markets. Additionally, I completed my Bachelor's degree from the prestigious School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. I was actively involved in the planning, design, and implementation of key projects, including a city-level public toilet project and Metro alignments. I consistently prepared the most suitable plans and proposals tailored to developers' requirements, effectively communicating them through 3D visuals and presentations. Furthermore, I contributed to the refinement and enhancement of the GIFT City Master Plan. Having successfully contributed to the planning and development of GIFT City, with a strong academic foundation in urban planning from CEPT University and SPA Delhi, I am eager to leverage my skills to drive innovative and impactful projects.
