Reducing Co2 footprint through customer friendly recycling processes: Initiated the first recycling @ home service in 2010 by engaging with consumers and postmen in Switzerland. Increased the used aluminium coffee capsules recycling rate from approx. 44% to 54%(2011-2020, national recycling rate reached over 70% in 2023). Approx. 1500 households supplied with green energy produced from the coffee grounds revalorized in the Henniez biogas plant along with 25 local farmers' cow liquid manure and hence, providing also natural fertilizer for agriculture. Innovations & partnerships: Key contributor to developing, pricing, producing, launching and distributing over 20 new espresso machine models, leading to a machine market share of 50% vs in Switzerland) Contribution to the turnaround of the European markets requesting products adapted to local coffee consumption habits. Turnaround strategy in Germany: In-depth consumer insights allowing to develop adapted coffee and machine development strategies in Germany to shift from a 15 years loss making operation in 2004 to a profitable and fast growing market in 2006 (Consumers loyalty increase from 75% to 85%, average annual spending per customer increased by 30% between 2003 and 2006) 4. Business transformation at Nespresso Switzerland: Key contributor to a Swiss turnover growth of +370 mn Chf in various functions including 10 years as CEO Nespresso Switzerland (+170 mn Chf 2008-2018) 5. Driving the E-Business share from 10% to 55%(+290 mn Chf) and customer loyalty at 90% at Nespresso Switzerland thanks to an Omni channel & CRM strategy driving the highest consumer loyalty, the highest average basket size, the highest channel mixity and subsequently, the highest cost efficiency across all countries' business units.
