About Pasquale Cirillo

I earned my Ph.D. in Computer and Electronic Engineering in 2016, specializing in robotics and automatic control systems for industrial and research applications. During my doctoral studies, I collaborated with several companies in the aeronautics sector, focusing on the integration of advanced robotic systems to optimize assembly process lines. After three years spent in Automotive industries, in 2019 I joined Hitachi Rail in Naples as a Model-Based Design Engineer, contributing to Main Line projects such as the Caravaggio Rock and Masaccio Blues platforms for Trenitalia and FNM. Since 2023, I have been serving as a Software Lead Engineer on high-speed rail projects, including the HS2 and platforms. As of 2025, following my experience on the I have been entrusted with supervising all high-speed TCMS projects, acting as the team’s key reference point. My current responsibilities include defining the software development lifecycle in compliance with EN50128 and EN50716 standards, task planning, supplier and resource management, software architecture and requirements definition, software development, auto-code generation, MIL/SIL/HIL testing, commissioning, and on-vehicle validation.
