Patrick T Geyer SPHR, CHIC, Sr Consultant, Leadership Development Group has over 30 years of experience in the areas of Human Resource management, Organizational development, Leadership/Team development and Executive coaching. He enjoys working with entrepreneuers and focusing on the individidual Leader or Team, and helping them achieve individual or organizational goals. As a Human Resources professional he is equipped to complete individual and organizational assessments, facilitate the development of high-performing teams and integrate business models that create balance and are responsive to both the Technical and People sides of an organization. His Training in Counseling, Education, Psychology and Theatre is integrated into an approach that is perceived as quietly effective to "magical".His passion is enabling others to realize their potential in either an " individual contributor" or "leadership" role, and as a result, contribute to the achievment of organizational goals. Prior to becoming a member of the Leadership Development Grroup, he served in an executive capapcity in Human Resources ( VP GatesMcDonald and Nationwide Ins) and Personnel development ( VP Red Roof Inns, Inc). He has enjoyed success at faciltating the "change process", has been effective in assisting executives and professionals "in transition",has played an active part in building a performance based culture and "Teaching" Leaders "How to Coach". He has achieved his master's level of certification in NLP from the Neuro-Linguistics Programming Institute in Boulder, Colorado and has earned his Executive Coach designation from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara. Patrick received his BA ( Psychology) from Ohio Dominican College and his Masters degree ( Education- Student Personnel) from the Ohio State University while managing Residence Hall environments for college students. He achieved his degrees after successfully completing a "tour of duty" in VietNam with the USMC.
