About Patrick Salsburg

Committed to international cooperation, democracy, and social justice, I am an Administrative Coordinator for the Office of Faculty Affairs at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. I previously supported the procurement and distribution of health supplies for Chemonics International’s role in the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management Project. Prior to this, I taught English to high schoolers in Landeck, Austria, through the Fulbright Austria program in the 2021-2022 school year. I also was a Research Assistant for AidData, where I helped research Eastern European and Eurasian news biases and German foreign aid. I am an alumnus of William & Mary, where I majored in International Relations and German Studies. As a leader of William & Mary's Amnesty International chapter and a Senator in the Student Assembly while at William & Mary, I advocated for human rights and diplomacy on both the local and global scale. My interdisciplinary liberal arts education covered the interactions of the U.S. and other countries on issues like international development, trade policy, human rights, and international cooperation through historical, political, sociological, and economic lenses.
