As a seasoned and proven University Advancement professional, I’ve served on leadership teams that have realized multi-billion-dollar philanthropic impacts at top academic institutions in the US and UK. I've devoted my career to helping create enduring relationships, foster multisector collaboration, and fund key programs from arts to engineering. Professional Trajectory Today, I'm Vice President of Philanthropy & Alumni Relations for New Mexico State University Foundation. Prior, I held university advancement leadership roles at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), University of Miami (UM), Imperial College London (ICL), the University of New Orleans (UNO), and California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Major wins included: Largest Development Team at UCSD’s Main Campus. Directed Advancement team substantively supporting $3B raised by country’s youngest university, as well as attaining 8+ figures of principal and major gifts funding. 20+-Department Philanthropic Excellence. Helped lead UM’s largest college to achieve a marked increase in philanthropy; played vital role in “one of the best fundraising years in the University’s 94-year history,” according to UM President, Julio Frank. Fortune 500 Strategic Partnerships. Fostered enduring relationships with executives from some of the most world’s most celebrated companies, including Boeing, Fluor, and Northrop Grumman.
