This is the story of B-Harmonist: I've been lucky enough to take part in some great entrepreneurial adventures (ActivCard, Netgem, Aelios, etc.). In fact, these successes were difficult to achieve because of the many inconsistencies that led to constant tension. Then I came across a company that was growing fast and smoothly. That was a shock. I set out to find out how they did it. The answer (spoiler): by having teams aligned around an authentic corporate culture! So, in 2012, I decided to help companies to do just that, because too few are succeeding. I was soon joined by people who were just as passionate and convinced that only 'systemic' coaching is effective. That's how the Harmonistes team was born. A company's culture is not just its values or its raison d'être. It's the set of fundamentals that all teams need to know in order to be autonomous. Every organisation has its own unique culture. The important thing is that it is aware of this and that the teams put it into action in a coherent 360° way. Say what you do and do what you say! Young people (the "GenZ") and the not-so-young today want to work in organisations that are meaningful, authentic and coherent. And they are right to do so! The "moral contract" with employees, customers and all stakeholders is then crystal clear. No false promises. And the results? Autonomy, commitment, attractiveness, performance, impact, pride in belonging. It's worth it, isn't it? The pressure in that direction will continue to grow.
