I have several years in the Customer Service industry. I am looking for a company where I can utilize my current skills and learn new skills. My objective is to get a career that allows me to grow with a company, not only as an employee but also a professional. To be an asset to the company that i work for. So they are able to focus on what they do best I have always enjoyed troubleshooting. Repairing hovercraft, copiers, and envelope folding machines. Guiding plan participants through their defined contribution plans or medical benefits. Helping clients set up open enrollment on bswift for their employees. Finally helping customers get their bicycles in working order for a race or weekend ride. My life has been built around helping people fix things. I have assisted client’s employees ranging from Executives, Investment Advisors, Doctors, Factory Workers, and Managers. I have assisted them with understanding their benefits, plan provisions, talking them through using online enrollment and benefits administration websites. I have also empathetically helped grieving family members work through their benefits when an employee or retiree has passed on. This includes 401k Benefits, Surviving Pension Benefits, and COBRA. I have worked as a Subject Matter Expert regarding 401k, 403b, and 401a plans using my knowledge and experience as both a resource for my team and client’s employees. I have also handled escalated issues with clients as an On Floor Supervisor helping enrollees through the process of having their enrollments corrected, coverages updated with carriers, working through the retirement process as it relates to health benefits and pension. I enjoy troubleshooting. Whether it’s why are my headlights are not coming on, why an equation isn’t giving me a correct answer, or why a participant is not showing RX coverage with the carrier when they are eligible according to the plan rules. I strive to master what I am doing and making knowledge mine. When I encounter something new I want to learn it inside and out so that I can confidently explain or assist my coworkers and participants completely and accurately. I am an advocate for those seeking my assistance and will try to assist them in any way possible.
