About Paul Cavanagh

With over 20 years of experience in higher education and non-profit leadership, I am the Executive Director for Workforce Development Initiatives at Career & Employment Options (CEO), a leading provider of transition services to young adults on Long Island. My core competencies include program development and evaluation, staff supervision and development, grant writing and administration, and partnerships and collaborations with various stakeholders. I have successfully applied for and received recognition from the US Department of Education as a Comprehensive and Postsecondary Transition Program, and introduced a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports initiative to enhance student outcomes. My mission is to create new and innovative workforce opportunities that align with the needs and interests of our clients and the local economy. I hold both Master's and Doctoral degrees in Social Work and a passion for empowering individuals and communities through education, training, and employment. I am also skilled in adult education, staff development, and higher education, and have a proven track record of managing and growing programs and teams. I am always looking for new ways to leverage my expertise and experience to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
