About Paul Marken

With a background in applied psychology, I have always been drawn to understanding how people learn, process information, and navigate challenges. Early in my career, I worked in psychological assessment, helping individuals uncover their strengths and potential. After moving to Calgary, I shifted my focus to employment services, supporting individuals with disabilities in developing the skills and confidence to succeed in the workforce. This led to a leadership role where I worked closely with employers, helping them build more inclusive hiring practices and create workplaces that embrace diversity. Building on this foundation, I transitioned into communications and marketing, where I combine expertise in behavioral insights, workforce development, and strategic messaging to create content that drives engagement and action. I specialize in digital strategy, audience engagement, and impactful storytelling - ensuring that organizations connect meaningfully with their communities while supporting job seekers in accessing opportunities. At the core of my work is a belief that clear, compelling communication can help to break down barriers, foster inclusion, and create pathways to success for individuals and businesses alike.
