Career Counselor with thirty years of management experience in the private sector, combined with 15 years of experience in the not for profit sector. Experienced in all areas of food service and retail. I opened the first Harvey's/Swiss Chalet outside of Canada in Lahr Germany. Strong leadership has given me a history of growth through out my career. Prospect has allowed me to work with newcomers, the aboriginal community, at risk teens and the vulnerable population. My experience includes: workshop facilitation / development (online and in person), career counselling, and assessments. My style that gives clients the necessary tools, knowledge and motivation to find their ideal career. I don't teach / facilitate from a book, I use humour and first hand experiences to keep my clients interested and informed. I offer clients a view from the "the hiring side of the desk". This advantage allows them to focus on the employers needs and to successfully sell their skills and experience.
