About Penny Thompson

Over the last 23 years I have held most positions that Target has offered. When I started in 1994 I was responsible for training and cashier production. I moved out to the sale floor and supervised the transitions happening on the sales floor. While being on the sales floor I also spent many hours training new team members to be the most effective they can while at work. Later in time I became the truck team leader. This was originally a 4 am process. This required being in the building alone to lead this team to in the unloading, moving freight to the sales floor, and getting extra merchandise put away at the end of the process, I was promoted to Senior Team Leader in the last 10 years with Target. This gives me an opportunity to be the leader on duty. I follow up with the team members work and daily projects, while also making sure that the daily task of running the store are all on track.
