About Peter Cronin

Foreign Service Officer with the United States Agency for International Development since June 2010, focusing on education and development-related initiatives put forth by the U.S. Government and serving as technical lead and manager at USAID Missions overseas. Experience in primary, secondary, and tertiary education systems, government relations, project design and management, local capacity development, public-private partnership development, girls’ education, literacy development, crisis and post-conflict education, and science and technology. Additionally, I have also worked in the health sector, particularly in how health interventions and outcomes affect schooling and education attainment. These experiences have provided me the opportunity to understand education from a holistic perspective. I have a passion for monitoring and evaluation approaches that truly measure an intervention's affects and provide powerful and compelling data that will help lead to sustainable changes.
