About Peter Melens

I have 4 passions in my life: My children and grandchildren are my biggest achievement in life. Without family life is just life. With family it gives me meaning and value which will be there from start to finish I always wanted to be a veterinarian and qualified as such in 1990. It has given me daily satisfaction first as a large animal private vet and then in government veterinary service. To put my skills into practice improving animal health and welfare and contributing to the wider agricultural economy has given me more satisfaction than I ever could have dreamt of. My years as manager and leader in veterinary services provided me with the joy of helping others develop and perform to the best of their ability. I contributed to policy development and implementation and emergency management of animal disease incidents. I gained international experience and IT program management skills while working at the World Organisation for Animal Health.Every day of my working life is a gift of opportunities not to be missed. As a strategic leader, my passion is to support future managers and leaders by transformational coaching. Providing Awareness and Clarity through Coaching provides a path to clear choices made by clients, ultimately leading to life changing skills development. I qualified from Coachmasters Academy in 2021 and achieved my Associate Coaching Certificate status with the International Coaching Federation in October 22.
