I’m an experienced epidemiologist, molecular microbiologist, leader and strategist. I’m an expert in science communications, operational management, editorial direction, and product design, field trial data management, and mathematical modelling. I am a Senior Scientist in immunology in charge of developing serology methods, method validation, verification and testing of new and existing products while strictly observing cGLP/cGMP. Functions include; Developing, validating, verifying, and technical transfer of analytical methods using various serological techniques in the reference laboratory. I write and review study protocols, reports, and test methods. Participating in inter-laboratory proficiency testing. Maintaining equipment in accordance with cGMP requirements in terms of operation, data processing, maintenance, calibration, and qualification. I have gained experience in Auditing ISO17025 accredited laboratories. I have practical work experience in following the ISO17025 working in a reference laboratory. As a principal epidemiologist in my previous role, I streamlined report writing by creating pipelines that produced a report for an individual farmer with a 50% reduction in veterinary consult time and also an overall reduction in the use of antimicrobials in food animals by more than 70%.
