Photography bio: Peter Suzuki has been shooting both film and digital portrait photography for over a decade. He is self taught and works with a classic minimalist aesthetic. He studied Industrial Design at SFSU and began his career as a photographer in Europe & NYC, shooting portfolios for various modeling agencies like Ford Model Management, Elite Models and Next Management. He is currently based in NYC. His taste and keen eye for beauty lead him to shoot many figures who would later reach major stardom. His photography work with the First family’s Lauren Bush was featured in French Elle, and he has photographed several top models and celebrities such as Isabelli Fontana, Noemi Lenoir, Marina Dias, Sarah Ziff, Mark Ruffalo and Margarita Levieva. DJ bio: Peter Suzuki began his career as the resident dj for the NYT's featured "Waxed" parties thrown by young NYC enfant terribles Taavo Summers & Carlos Quiarte. Providing the soundtrack to the burgeoning NYC “hipster” movement in the early at downtown clubs like Lit Lounge & the 205 Club (6’s & 8’s). As music trends changed he rose out of the art scene parties, dj-ing for NYC’s major nightlife venues like Marquee, Greenhouse, & Guesthouse. He has built a DJ career in New York City with long-running residencies for nightlife luminaries like Steve Lewis, Thomas Dunkley(GBH) & others at various hotspots including: Stanton Social, Beauty & Essex. Ganzevoort Rooftop, Yotel, Norwood, Beauty Bar, The DL, Maritime Hotel, 230 Fifth Penthouse, Snitch & Table 50. Peter has dj'd alongside rock legends like Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeah’s), Fabrizio Moretti (The Strokes), Glen Matlock (The Sex Pistols) and Andy Rourke (The Smiths) and for high profiled clients like The Rolling Stones, Christian Audigier (Ed Hardy) and Diesel. He currently spins a wide variety of genres including Top40, hip hop, electro, EDM, nu disco, 80's, rock’n’roll & indie/alt. In recent years he has dj’ed for a large roster of corporate clients including Refinery 29, Bank of America, GQ Magazine, Warby Parker, Citibank and Goldman Sachs.
