About Phil Gant

I came from a military family so it was not much of a surprise when I enlisted at 17 but I never imagined where it would take me. I ended up making it my profession with multiple combat deployments and having the honor of serving with and leading incredibly well trained and talented special operations soldiers. After a fulfilling military career I was fortunate to be selected to help stand up and run the Fort Bragg campus for The Honor Foundation. From this position I’m able to continue to contribute to the special operations community by guiding them through the challenges of transitioning out of uniform. These men and women have given so much of themselves in service to our nation. It is fitting that someone serves them as they find their way into a fulfilling civilian lifestyle. As Director of Programs for The Honor Foundation I get to interact face-to-face with these men and women to not only see their success stories, I can participate in them. I believe I’m at my absolute best when I’m able to provide opportunities for growth, so others can reach their full potential. I am a meticulous problem solver with a strong drive for achievement. I thoroughly consider all options and potential risks before making decisions, ensuring a calculated approach. As someone who values logic and efficiency and is adept at identifying issues and crafting effective solutions, I rely on logical, data-backed insights. Highly motivated and constantly striving for excellence, I set and achieve ambitious goals. As an effective planner, I navigate complex situations with ease, highly skilled in both planning and execution. I am driven by a desire for personal and professional growth. Although I may be perceived as reserved, I am highly committed to my goals and demonstrate unwavering determination in achieving them. I really enjoy finding ways to improve processes and increase efficiency to help teammates and organizations achieve their goals.
