Philip Gordon, MA, PhD, is Relationship Manager and Director of Communication at Altman Advisors. He is a member of both the Asset Management and Family Office Groups. His responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships of trust with clients, interacting with stakeholders, and writing and editing copy for all the firm’s communications, including quarterly commentaries, newsletters, website content, social media, and more. “The real Dr. Phil” is a former professor and Chair of Communication at Utah Valley University. He is an accomplished documentary filmmaker, writer, public speaker, real estate investor, and raconteur. A scholar of communication and Cultural Studies, Dr. Phil has a unique understanding of the power of storytelling to create meanings and organize human experience. He is committed to the idea that telling better stories is the key to seeing better possibilities and acting to bring them about. He was a client of Altman Advisors before he joined the firm.
