About Philip Jaskot

After a 14-year career in law enforcement, concentrated in criminal investigations, I returned to college and obtained degrees in accounting and finance. I proceeded into middle market commercial lending for several years. Having a knack for credit analysis and drawing from my investigative and legal skills from my police career, I migrated into commercial loan workout. In addition to supervising and mentoring a regional group of managers, workout officers, and portfolio managers, I am responsible for data collection, reporting, and trend analysis. My institution's model is to involve workout personnel on a consultative basis with the front-end lender, when certain negative trends or events occur. This early involvement has been extremely effective in protecting the Bank's assets, as well as adding value to the customer.At this juncture my goals are to grow in my role in executive management and to nurture career growth amongst my direct reports.Specialties: Credit analysis, Complex commercial loan workouts, Highly leveraged transactions, Bankruptcy, C&I Lending relationships, Auto floor plan workouts, Participations, Management, Complex investigations.
