About Pragya Rai

My career journey started as a company secretary management trainee with DLF (one of the leading real estate developers) in Gurgaon after which I got my first break with a manfacturing unit of Eureka Forbes namely AquaIgnis Technologies Private Limeted as Company Secretary where I was independently taking care of all the secretarial and legal assignments. In 2016, I worked with joint team of legal and secretarial department with Entertainment City Limited and its sister concern, Adventure Island Limited,(both companies are part of entertainment industry) where my work was duly recognised and given a promotion within 1.5 years of being associated with them. Taking my journey forward, in December 2018, I got an opportunity to be part of legal department in Burman Hospitality Private Limited (Taco Bell). I independently look after the due diligence, drafting and negotiation of agreements related to expansion of Taco Bell in North, North-East and South Zone in India. Additionally, I act as a support function for due diligence and agreements negotiations for Taco Bell in West Zone in India. To put my 9.5 years and counting career in a nutshell, I hold experience of secretarial and legal works of diversified industries such as rela eastate, manufacturing, entertainment and hospitality/food and beverages. I have managed to pursue and qualify ICSA-UK and LL.B. while being on job.
