About Primo Obsequio

With 27 years of extensive work experience in both local and international NGOs; domestic as well as foreign posts. For technical competencies, he graduated from the country’s premier state university, the University of the Philippines, achieving a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, fully covered by the university’s scholarship program. An experienced fund/grant manager not only under regular programming but also in an emergency and recovery context, as he held vital senior finance posts for the Typhoon Haiyan projects of ChildFund and American Red Cross in Leyte. Currently, he is the Head of Finance and Administration of Arche Nova - Myanmar; with experience in setting up and upgrading finance systems for NGOs; capacity building of finance staff; and formally trained on USAID Rules and Regulations held in Brighton UK, facilitated by MANGO and sponsored by HIV/AIDS Alliance. Recently given the task of being the lead in the roll out of WINPACCS to all country missions of Arche Nova. In addition to his educational qualification and grant management experience, his two greatest strengths are his passion to help and passion to work with anyone regardless of race, nationality, social status, sexual preference, belief/religion for the greater good of humanity, environment or anything with life.
