About Rachel Braddock

I am a recent MA graduate from Georgia State University where I studied Political Science with a concentration in International and Comparative Politics. I was blessed with the opportunity to study political economies in Ireland and France during my graduate program. Those opportunities permitted me to develop my thesis on the economic assimilation of Ukrainian and Syrian refugees in the European Union. In 2022, I graduated magna cum laude as a global scholar from Georgia State University with a BA in Political Science and Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations. I also earned two minors in History and Planning & Economic Development. During my undergraduate education, I gained several leadership roles through various organizations, including Delta Zeta, Panhellenic Council, Red Cross, Order of Omega, and Young Democrats. It was an honor to serve my community through these positions, and I look forward to becoming a wiser leader. My professional experience began after I interned at a local law office in February 2019. In September 2019, I started at the Georgia Office of State Administrative Hearings (OSAH) as a Legal Intern and, later, a Legal Assistant for 3 Administrative Law Judges. While working at OSAH, I took on additional roles such as the Resource Development Knowledge Management Intern at CARE, Development and Engagement Intern at the Delta Zeta Foundation, and After-school Program Intern at the Clarkston Community Center In the Spring of 2023, I was a Supplemental Instructor at Georgia State University for Introduction to American Government, a Peace Program Development intern at The Carter Center, and a Cold & Capital intern at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.
