About Rachel Linstead

Founder of FIRECRACKER | Workplace Wellbeing, Culture & Performance Specialist I'm passionate about three things: Wellbeing, Organisational Culture, and Growth — so I combined them to create FIRECRACKER, a consultancy that helps businesses thrive by putting people first. To illustrate the connection between wellbeing and performance, I developed the Wheel of Wellbeing, Culture & Performance — a practical tool I use in workshops to help organisations understand that their people are their greatest asset. I specialise in delivering engaging, interactive sessions across all elements of the wheel. At Firecracker, we focus on building positive workplace cultures using fun, food, and nutrition to drive staff engagement, motivation, and ultimately, business performance. From improving customer service and team communication to unlocking the power of effective leadership and people management, I help teams work differently — and better. 🧠 My journey started in food science and NPD with Unilever, followed by qualifying as a personal trainer and later becoming a Service Manager in a leading health club. I bring together deep expertise in food, fitness, and behavioural change. I’m a champion of the FISH! philosophy and certified to deliver DiSC profiling and culture transformation programmes—tools I use to inspire customer-focused, resilient teams. After relocating to Lincolnshire, I qualified as a Nutritionist and became a Food Specialist Business Coach for the government-funded Business & Food Knowledge programme, supporting SMEs in hospitality and food manufacturing. Today, Firecracker supports a wide range of organisations — from corporate teams to food sector SMEs — with tailored programmes in: Nutrition & wellbeing Team communication & performance Culture & leadership coaching Food innovation & consultancy Let's connect if you’re looking to energise your people, transform your culture, and drive performance through practical, people-focused strategies. I work with a range of sectors, providing nutrition and technical advice for food manufacturing and hospitality organisations. I use food and nutrition to show that, with a little thought and preparation, great results can be achieved.
