About Rae C.

In my current role, I help our union members and Labour Relations team at the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees stay updated on important issues related to their job sites in Southern Alberta. I assist in the development of print and digital media by leveraging over 100 years of advocacy and knowledge that has accumulated at AUPE to support our strategic objectives and to better serve our membership. Early in my career, I became known as a unicorn, capable of bridging the gap between digital and creative teams. Since then, I have worked with sole entrepreneurs and large organizations to build brands and online experiences that people actually want to use. My holistic approach includes evaluating an organization's entire digital footprint, building systems to optimize departmental workflows, and ultimately streamline adoption of new technologies. I greet each challenge with optimism and a user-centred approach, helping everyone get excited about the benefits of content management software. With over 15 years of working with WordPress and various other CMS applications, I have developed a keen eye for user experience design. Combine this with my experience in analytics and search engine optimization — I know how to make online campaigns more visible, trackable and repeatable.
