About Raechel Chen

Hello, I’m Raechel! I’m orginally from the California Bay Area, but have moved to the greater Los Angeles area since I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and Honors Humanities from Azusa Pacific University. Throughout my undergraduate years, I gained experience in recruitment, marketing, event coordinating and have enjoyed being on the operations, logistics, and mobilization side of organizations, clubs, and offices. I also had the pleasure of piloting my university's Honors College - a Great Works program that incorporated discussion, reading, and writing - ending my four years with the privilege to be part of a publication studying the impact of Dietrich Bonhoeffer for today. I am a lover of food and hospitality. I find that finding connections and developing relationships with peers is a joy of mine. I had the chance to help open a Chick-fil-A in a recruitment and marketing role between August - November 2018, and later on took a position as front of house shift lead, which gave me the opportunity to work in a setting that brings my passion for people development, meals, and hospitality business together. Currently I am a finance and operations administrator that gets to work with volunteer coordinating, donor relations and support, non-profit finance systems, and event logistics at Epicentre Pasadena.
